Anthony Joshua Involved in Fatal Car Crash on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

World-renowned boxer, Anthony Joshua has been involved in a road accident in Makun, Ogun State, Nigeria, on Monday, December 29, 2025.

The accident occurred along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when his Lexus SUV (KRD 850 HN) collided with a stationary truck with Joshua sustaining minor injuries.

According to reports from eyewitnesses, the vehicle in which Joshua was traveling collided with another car. However, the boxer was conscious and participated in the rescue effort.

The crash resulted in two fatalities (reportedly in the other vehicle), while Joshua sustained only minor injuries and is said to be recovering.
