Nkechi Blessing Abandons Movie Production After ₦80m Loss

Popular Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has announced the reason why she quit movie production.

Nkechi Blessing revealed that she spent over ₦80 million producing movies since September but hasn't recovered even ₦1 million. 

Expressing her frustration with the current state of movie viewership and audience support, the actress stated that people only pay attention to films with excessive hype.

Nkechi Blessing further added that she's tired of producing movies at the moment and plans to focus on international travel and other ventures.

This isn't Nkechi Blessing's first time taking a break from acting; she previously stepped away due to an anonymous benefactor offering her a ₦1 million weekly salary to quit acting. She's been open about feeling underrated in the industry, saying people focused more on her physique than her talent.

She wrote: “I no do again abeg…I have spent over 80 million naira producing movies since September and I haven’t gotten 1m back…I no do again abeg🙏

"make I go back to flying round d world…As una no gree watch film if the Movie is not over hyped,I don try🙏

"the ones we were there for self no even fit help…I am done abeg!”
