Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, popularly known as Nengi, announced the arrival of her first child. 

Nengi took to Instagram to share the happy news, expressing her joy by calling her newborn "the purest form of love" and her "greatest blessing" in an emotional post.

Nengi revealed that her child was born on February 21, 2025. This announcement came after months of speculation about her pregnancy, which she had confirmed earlier while addressing and dismissing rumors linking the child's paternity to Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri.

The purest form of love… I received the most precious gift on 21-02. My greatest blessing, my heart in human form, my purpose.
