Why I Feel God Delayed My Success – Tiwa Savage

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Tiwa Savage has revealed how she used to wonder why she wasn't successful early in life.

The actress believes that God has a reason for the delay, because it was thirties she started to attain fame and success.

However, according to her, she has come to the conclusion that why God made things not to go her own way for a purpose, and the reason is for her story to be a blessing for others.

On a recent episode of The Receipts podcast, Tiwa believes that God deliberately delayed her success in life for a reason.

She said,

“I feel like God has done this on purpose. God delayed my success for a purpose. I used to be like, why wasn’t I successful in my twenties? I started succeeding in my thirties.

“It’s to bless other people. It’s to bless that 25-year-old girl who’s scared about what the future holds. If she opens my page and sees that I started in my thirties, she would be like, ‘I still have time.’”
