Michael Adebayo Olayinka, Nigerian Afrobeat singer, who is popularly known as Ruger, opened up about his struggles with commitment in relationships.

Ruger said initially, he will be eeager to get serious with someone, but his excitement fizzles out quickly, leaving him uninterested.

Speaking during an interview with Naija FM, the singer stated that his first reaction after seeing a girl is to have a steady relationship, but then he suddenly lose seriousness and become nonchalant.

Ruger owned up that he's a romantic at heart, explaining why relationships aren't his thing.

“But my first instinct when I see a girl is to think about getting serious with her. But later I just become unserious all of a sudden.

“Honestly, the most I can give female fan on stage is a flower. It is like we are working together. I don’t see it beyond the stage.”
