“Come With Money!” – Tiwa Savage Says She’s Done Dating Broke Men

Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage says she no longer lets emotions rule her when it comes to relationships. 

Tiwa opened up about her past approach to relationships, disclosing how her choices costed her dearly.

“I used to make the mistake of dating down because I only cared about love... ‘Oh my God, I don’t care if you’re not making money, it’s just love.”

She admitted she spent years being the more financially stable partner, carrying the load emotionally and otherwise. But those days are behind her.

“But now, I think I need someone that just has money. I think I’m at that point now,” she declared.

“Love is really nice but you can judge me for wanting a wealthier person if you want. I want to try dating someone wealthier. I have tried the other way for so many years.”

Tiwa painted a picture of the kind of lifestyle she's craving, a  private vacations to spots like Monaco and St. Tropez, summertime in Europe, and the feeling of being taken care of rather than always being the one providing.

Tiwa also reflected deeper, saying she doesn't think she's ever experienced "true love" beyond what she shares with her son Jamil, describing past romances more as infatuation than deep connection.
