Wiz Khalifa Says Couples Should Date For 10 Years Before Marriage

American rapper and singer, Cameron Jibril Thomaz popularly known as Wiz Khalifa has explained why people should get married after a decade of dating.

Wiz Khalifa advocates for delayed marriage, suggesting a decade-long courtship allows couples to know everything about each other.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast, Wiz shared his thoughts on relationships and dating.

According to him, people should date for a long time to get to know each other properly and build a strong foundation for their relationship.

He emphasized that dating for 10 years is important in understanding the person you want to settle down with and the compatibility in the relationship you will possess.

 “People should date for 10 years before getting married because that’s long enough to know the person, their family, and who you’re going to deal with when you move in together.”

The rapper also expressed his thoughts on cohabitation in a relationship. 

 “It depends on the situation and the circumstances. Some people move in right away and still need time to figure it out.

“If you don’t move in right away, you’ll learn that there’s one version of the person when you’re not sharing things and a different version when you are.”
