Blessing Okoro Refunds VeryDarkMan After Explosive Cancer Scandal
Controversial relationship therapist, Blessing CEO, finally bows to pressure and begins refunding donations, including money from outspoken critic, VeryDarkMan, following her shocking cancer saga.
What started as a sad story is now Nigeria’s biggest online drama.
Recall that Blessing CEO had earlier claimed she was battling stage 4 breast cancer, a revelation that pulled massive sympathy from fans and well-meaning Nigerians. Donations poured in fast and among those who showed support was VeryDarkMan.

But just when emotions were high, things took a dark turn. Questions started flying.
Doubts turned into investigations. And before long, the internet smelled something off.
Social media users began pointing out inconsistencies in her story, demanding proof and accountability. With many accusing her of playing on people’s emotions.
VeryDarkMan didn’t hold back either. The activist, known for calling out online scams, publicly demanded a full refund, warning that if the claims turned out to be false, the situation could take a serious legal twist.
In a dramatic new development, Blessing CEO has reportedly started returning the money, including VDM’s donation. But that’s not all, she also released an emotional video that has everyone talking.
In the now-viral clip, she appeared visibly shaken, her voice heavy with regret as she issued a heartfelt apology to Nigerians.
"Hey, guys.
My name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka
Popularly known as blessingceo.
I want to start by saying I am very sorry to my loved ones, well-wishers, and to all Nigerians.
I am sorry for the unnecessary drama, embarrassment and controversy surrounding my health issues. I want to apologise genuinely. I am sorry.
Going forward, I will carry you all along, just like I carried you all during my liposuction and bbl journey.
Please be patient with me, I did not lie about my health issues.
I will start by officially uploading my scan results, down to my biopsy, and carry you all on this journey. Please be patient with me.
Thank you so much for all the love and well wishes. And to the well-meaning Nigerians who want a refund of their contributions, please kindly send us a WhatsApp message or DM, attaching your receipt and account number, and you will receive a refund.
Thank you all, lovers remain blessed."
While some Nigerians are praising her for owning up and refunding the money, others are not buying it. For them, the damage is already done and trust has been broken.
Across social media, reactions are wildly divided, some say, “At least she did the right thing in the end.” Others insist, “This should never have happened in the first place.”
