Busola Dakolo losses case to Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo

The rape case file by Busola Dakolo the wife of Timi Dakolo at the high court of the Federal Capital Territory has been dismissed.

On Thursday, the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12 sitting at Bwari, Abuja has dismissed the case filed  by Busola Dakolo against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
The presiding judge over the case, Justice Othman A. Musa, said the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice, an abuse of judicial process and that the case has no substance with a lot of sentiment.

The cost of N1 million did the court awarded against Dakolo and held that the fine should have been 10 times more because the time of the court was wasted.

In June 2019, Busola Dakolo had filed a rape case against Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA.

She gave the court an account of how Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo raped her twice in her family home and on the bonnet of his car as a teenager and as such the rape had affected her marital sex life.
In every possible way, Pastor Abiodun Fatoyin has denied the allegations made against him.

To this, Fatoyinbo filed a counter-claim stating that Busola accusations should be dismissed based on the fact that it was frivolous and statute-barred.
