Davido Reveals His Wife, Chioma Turned Him Down When They First Met

Popular Afrobeats singer David Adeleke aka Davido, has revealed his encounter with his wife, Chioma and how she turned down his advances.

The first the couple met each other was at Babcock University while they were students. Davido pursued a degree in music, while Chioma studied Economics.

The superstar disclosed he will never forget the day he saw Chioma, stating he was in a Prado, after seeing her he ordered his personal assistant to call her.

However, initial attempts to see her was unsuccessful, as fate will have it they met again in Lagos and linked up.

“I was in school for a year before I blew up. That was when I met my wife. I remember the day I saw her. I can never forget. I was in a Prado, and I looked behind, and I saw this girl walking. Just there with her bag, it was Chioma. I told Lat (Davido’s personal assistant), ‘Omo, I like that girl. Go and call that girl for me.”

“Later on, she came to Lagos, and we linked up. And I was like, ‘Yeah, I got you.”
