Nigerian music star, Davido has revealed why he is interested in the ongoing gubernatorial election in Edo State.
The superstar, Davido made it known that the reason he is showing interest in the gubernatorial election in the state is because, his mother is from that Edo State.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Frank Mba, who was a guest on the special edition of Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday for the Edo election, said that citizens should go back home after performing their civic duties.
“Tomorrow, it is important for parents and for everybody to know that if you are not accredited to carry out any of the functions related to the election, you should not be out on the street,” DIG Mba stated.”
“Just come, go out there, perform your civic duties, cast your vote, and return to your home.”
“I will say all is set. We have done our deployments, and we have taken care of all our concerns.
“We have made provisions for tomorrow; we have taken care of INEC headquarters, the RAC centres, and anticipated operations for tomorrow, and so we are good to go.”

“My mom is from Edo for those wondering why I’m interested in the election … but we as Nigerians should be concerned sha .. @inecnigeria shame on you I know how many times I had to come in here and rant before they got it right in Osun ! It’s really bad . God help us.”
